The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro is where Xiaomi's current fitness-band lineup gets genuinely interesting. It takes the long battery life and affordability associated with the Mi Band family and adds the features that frequently push buyers toward considerably more expensive watches.
The 1.74-inch AMOLED display is outstanding for the price. Xiaomi quotes 2,000 nits peak brightness, and Notebookcheck measured an impressive 1,866 nits in testing. Combined with the slim 9.7mm aluminum body, the Pro feels closer to a compact smartwatch than a conventional fitness band.
The biggest upgrade over the regular Smart Band 10 is built-in GNSS. Runs, walks and rides can be recorded without carrying a phone, using GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS. It is only a single-band system, however. Professional and owner testing suggests it performs well in open environments but can become less dependable between buildings, so serious runners still have reasons to spend more on a dual-band Garmin, Huawei or similar sports watch.
Heart-rate performance is unusually strong. Notebookcheck's test against a Polar H10 chest strap produced an average exercise deviation of just 0.12%, while Tech Advisor also found everyday and steady-workout heart rate convincing. High-intensity exercise remains harder for the optical sensor, as expected.
Recovery tracking is improved too, with average HRV measured during sleep. Xiaomi also advertises significantly improved sleep detection, although real-world evidence is mixed: some professional testers obtained good results while owners have reported missed nighttime awakenings. Treat sleep stages as useful trends rather than precise measurements.
Battery performance is excellent in context. Xiaomi advertises 21 days under light use and 15 under normal use; Tom's Guide achieved around 13 days while actively using sleep, stress and activity features.
The shortcomings are mostly smartwatch-related. There's no app store, Bluetooth calling or proper notification replies, and Mi Fitness still lacks the polish of the hardware.
Even so, the Smart Band 10 Pro hits an unusually good balance. Unless contactless payments are essential, it's the model in Xiaomi's lineup we'd choose.
